Slow Cooker Ribs

Just put the ribs in the slow cooker first thing in the morning, and the ribs will be done to perfection by supper!!

Servings: 2 servings/rack of ribs
Preparation Time: 15 mins
Cooking Time: 8-10 hours
Author Rating: 10/10

Ingredients:

0.5 teaspoondry mustard
0.25 cupketchup
2 tablespoonlemon juice
1 onion, sliced
0.5 cupwater
0.5 cupwhite vinegar
3 tablespoonWorcestshire sauce

Directions:

Slice onion and place in bottom of slow cooker. Mix remaining ingredients and add to slow cooker. Cut ribs into 2-3 rib sections. Drag through liquid mixture in slow cooker, and stack so that the ribs fit into the slow cooker with the lid in place. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Notes:

When ribs are done, lift from slow cooker using tongs and allow to drain. The cooker will now be filled with liquid. That's OK. Place ribs on platter. Baste with your favorite barbecue sauce. I like to heat the sauce in a sauce pan so that the sauce is hot before basting. I find the best sauce to use is a beef based one, rather than a tomato based one, such as Cattleboyz. This is, however, personal taste and your fave can definitely be used! Enjoy!! Only problem is that the ribs are so tender, the bones often fall out of the meat!Recipe provided via www.MeanMeals.com
