Deliciously Easy Lasagna

Easy to make and it's a great recipe for freezing for a quick meal on the go.

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

1 poundground beef
1.5 cupmozzarella
1 mediumonion
9 oven ready lasagna noodles (I use fresh pasta sheets
0.5 cupparmesan cheese
3 cuppasta sauce
1 cupwater (optional)

Directions:

Step 1
Cook meat and onion in 1 tbsp. vegetable oil in a large frying pan or dutch oven until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain fat.
Step 2
Stir in pasta sauce and water, 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Layer sauce and lasagna noodles, ending with sauce in a 9"x13" baking pan. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Step 3
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
 

Notes:

I sometimes will add fresh pressed garlic to the ground beef and onion while I am cooking it to give it more flavour. You can freeze lasagna in single-serve portions in small freezer bags or containers for a quick meal. For single-serve portions, microwave on high for 5 minutes and let stand for 1-2 minutes. For large portions, thaw in refrigerator overnight. Reheat in a 350 degree oven until thoroughly heated or a knife inserted in centre for 10 seconds or feels warm to the touch.Recipe provided via www.MeanMeals.com
